Beer of the Month: Yummy Gift DeliveriesNothing says “I took time choosing your gift” than a Beer of the Month membership. It’s fresh (the beer AND the idea), considerate, and even if you DID buy it five minutes before presenting it, you can easily claim you did a lot of research and put some thought into it.
As last-minute gift options go, this one has huge benefits. Firstly, you’re buying a subscription, not a tangible item. That means you can buy the gift, print out a little card, and give it to your recipient without waiting for shipping. Literally a moment before it’s given, you can still get away with this.
Fresh beer will arrive at their house for every month of the membership. That’s 12 bottles of craft beer, selected by experts, all fresh, and no crappy big name beer to get in the way of the fun.
So if you have a beer fan in your family, treat them to Beer of the Month club. They will love it (and you!).

Great Wine ClubsWine clubs are great. Have you ever joined one? It’s worth it. Before I joined a wine club, I always looked silly when going to social gatherings. I’d always bring some random box of wine that everyone else would make fun of. Once I started rubbing elbows with people who actually knew the difference between a good wine and a bad one, that all changed. Now I don’t make dumb mistakes, like chilling a red wine, or serving blush with mexican food. Since I’ve joined a wine club, every time I go to a family reunion, everyone knows I have something amazing in my bag. It makes me feel like a big shot. I even impressed the vice president of my company last week, and made a huge splash with the wine pairing I presented at our private banquet. I feel so high class, now. I owe it all to wine clubs. Now, anytime I go to any social gathering, I’m bringing bottled gold instead of a box of swill nobody will enjoy. Who knows what’s next for me. Maybe on my next date, I’ll discover the perfect wine to make my partner swoon for me.

Chausser. Few names are as significant in Russian River wine cirlces. Always a great choice as a wine gift because of the truly incredible quality levels, Chausser is the winery of Bill Hunter who came into the business with a degree from winemakers University (the University of California at Davis) and a decade of experience at Bonny Doon Vineyards. The entire production at Chausser is dedicated to small production, vineyard designate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with the vast majority of grapes sourced from the coolest weather sites in Sonoma County, although Carneros in Napa Valley is also represented. The Chardonnay’s always gather the most attention at tasting events because of their murky appearance. We’ve had more than one person ask if something is wrong, or if some sort of bottle shock is taking place, then they try the wine and come away utterly amazed at what is perhaps the finest Chardonnay produced in California.
